Paula Daniels Opens the Day

Paula Daniels has been a force in shaping the way we view the city and the infrastructure of the city. She has been a catalyst in public policy and government in several key positions including Public Works Commissioner for Los Angeles, a Senior Policy Advisor on Food and Water to Mayor Villaraigosa, a Senior Fellow on Food Systems, Water, and Climate to California Governor Jerry Brown, the Pritzker Environment and Sustainability Education Fellow, and most recently as the Executive Director of California Central, A Villaraigosa Initiative at USC. As the founder of the Los Angeles Food Policy Council, she has forever changed the way we consider food and the health of the city as a part of the constellation of public / social issues. We welcome Paula Daniels to Territorial Repercussions as a launch to a provocative day of discussion and debate.
